Based on the movie of the same name, School Of Rock follows Dewey Finn, a failed, wannabe rock star who decides to earn a few extra bucks by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. There he turns a class of straight-A students into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band.

School of Rock the musical features music from Andrew Lloyd Webber, lyrics by Glenn Slater and a book by Julian Fellowes.

After opening in Birmingham, the School of Rock’s first UK tour will visit Aberdeen, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Wimbledon, Ipswich, Cardiff, Milton Keynes, Dublin, Leeds, Newcastle, Sheffield, Wolverhampton, Manchester, Hull, Plymouth, Bristol, Stoke-on-Trent, Southampton, Eastbourne, Canterbury, Norwich, Bournemouth, Woking, Dartford, Southend-on-Sea, Liverpool, Northampton, Llandudno, Sunderland and Oxford.
