Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs tells the story of a princess who seeks refuge from her wicked and jealous stepmother by living with seven dwarfs – Doc, Sneezy, Grumpy, Happy, Bashful, Sleepy, and Dopey.

As always, the festive family treat will be brought to life by a star cast.

Snow White at Grand Opera House York will feature Mark Little, best baddie in Yorkshire, ‘Allo ‘Allo legend Vicki Michelle and man of comedy and magic Martin Daniels.

Knaresborough newcomer Louise Henry will appear in the title role of Snow White joining returning panto dame Steve Wickenden with Jonny Muir as the Prince.

A synopsis of the production reads: “Will Snow White escape the Queen’s evil magic? Will the wicked Queen get hooked up with the handsome Prince? Will Muddles ever get his magic tricks to work? Will the Seven Dwarfs ever get back home without singing that silly song?

“To get answers to all these questions, come along to see this exciting family pantomime, full of magic, mayhem and mirth, with terrific sets, outrageous costumes and wondrous special effects.”

Snow White plays at York’s Grand Opera House between Friday 13 December 2019 and Saturday 4 January 2020.
