Hamilton announces new cast for London’s West End

The new cast of Hamilton in London’s West End has been confirmed.

A record breaking, award-winning smash hit, Hamilton tells the story of American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton.

With music, lyrics and a book by Lin-Manuel Miranda, the musical premiered Off-Broadway in 2015 before moving to Broadway and opening in London’s West End in December 2017.

The current London production wills see a cast change on November 18 as Karl Queensborough takes on the title role of Alexander Hamilton having previously appeared as the alternate in the West End company.

Allyson Ava-Brown continues as Angelica Schuyler together with Jason Pennycooke as Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson.

Joining them are Emilie Louise Israel as Peggy Schuyler/ Maria Reynolds, Trevor Dion Nicholas as George Washington, Simon-Anthony Rhoden as Aaron Burr, Sharon Rose as Eliza Hamilton, Emile Ruddock as Hercules Mulligan/James Madison, Carl Spencer as John Laurens/Philip Hamilton and Gavin Spokes as King George (from 4 November 2019).

Nuno Queimado will play the role of Alexander Hamilton at certain performances.

Completing the new cast are Jade Albertsen, Curtis Angus, Robson Broad, Ashley Daniels, Lisa Darnell, Kelly Downing, Lydia Fraser, Dujonna Gift-Simms, Manaia Glassey-Ohlson, Joe Griffiths-Brown, Gregory Haney, Peter Houston, Barney Hudson, DeAngelo Jones, Jake Halsey-Jones, Phoebe Liberty Jones, Travis Kerry, Natasha Leaver, Aaron Lee Lambert, Sinead Long, Louis Mackrodt, Jay Perry, Alexzandra Sarmiento and Lindsey Tierney.

The show is currently playing at the Victoria Palace and booking until March 2020.

Performances are Monday to Saturday at 7:30pm with Thursday & Saturday matinees at 2:30pm.
