Kerry Ellis and John Owen-Jones

Musical theatre enthusiasts are in for a treat as Kerry Ellis and John Owen-Jones team up for a one-off concert at the newly minted King’s Head Theatre in London.

Scheduled for Monday 10 June 2024, the evening promises to deliver stellar performances from two of the industry’s most acclaimed voices.

Dubbed One Night, Two Voices, the event will mark the first performance in the intimate 200-seat venue.

Kerry, known for her roles in hits like Wicked, We Will Rock You, and Anything Goes, and John, celebrated for his performances in The Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, and Sweeney Todd, will treat the audience to an array of classics from these beloved shows.

The set list includes favourites from Les Misérables, Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, and We Will Rock You, with a few unexpected surprises to enhance the evening’s excitement.

Following their London gig, the duo will continue their musical journey with a performance in Wales at the Llangollen International Eisteddfod on 4 July, followed by a show at the Edinburgh Fringe at Prestonfield on Friday 16 August.

John Owen-Jones said: “Since the time we first met when we were in the same cast of Les Miz in the West End, I’ve worked with Kerry many times and in many places. We’ve had brilliant time singing together all over the UK and even as far afield as Japan and I am delighted that we are finally co-headlining our own show together in London!

“I’m equally delighted we’ll be performing in a brand-new venue, the King’s Head Theatre and I must say that if you’re a musical theatre lover it’s going to be a special night. John and Kerry: One night, Two voices. It’s been a long time coming and I can’t wait!”

Kerry Ellis added: “I’m very excited about coming back again and performing with John Owen-Jones, who is an old friend of mine. It should be a great evening!”
