The Shows Must Go On to return with more shows streaming online for free

YouTube series The Shows Must Go On is to return for a new selection of shows to watch online for free.

Originally launching earlier this year, the series makes a new show available to stream for free every weekend.

The new season will begin on September 25 with the 30th-anniversary tour production of Fame the Musical, based on the 1980s film of the same name.

It will be followed by a free stream of Michael Ball: Past & Present Tour – Live (October 2). Filmed at the Royal Albert Hall, the 2009 show celebrates 25 years of Michael’s music with performances of songs from Hairspray, Jesus Christ Superstar, Les Misérables, as well as music by the likes of Queen and Supertramp.

On October 9, the Alfie Boe Live – The Bring Him Home Tour will see the West End legend singing songs from shows including West Side Story, Moulin Rouge and Les Misérables with special guests Matt Lucas, Melanie C and Tom Fletcher.

And debuting on October 16 will be Jeff Wayne’s Musical Version of The War of The Worlds: Alive on Stage! filmed live at London’s O2 Arena with 23 cameras for spectacular visual coverage. Due to the ongoing pandemic, the 2021 arena tour was postponed and will now tour from March 2022.

Each show will be available from 7PM on the Friday evening and can be watched for 48 hours over the weekend.

You can watch the shows via The Shows Must Go On! YouTube page here.
