New musical P.S. I’m A Terrible Person set for workshop production

New musical P.S. I’m A Terrible Person will get a 3-week fully-staged development workshop in October.

Written by Francesca Forristal and Jordan Paul Clarke, the show is a dark comedy musical about addiction through the eyes of 16-year-old, Martha Weiss.

Produced by Pint of Wine Theatre, the workshop cast will feature Nicole Raquel Dennis (Dear Evan Hansen, Dreamgirls), Piers Bate (Waitress), Charlotte Vaughan (The Phantom of the Opera), Lewis Cornay (The Book of Mormon), Lottie Johnson (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) and the show’s book writer Francesca Forristal as Martha Weiss.

They’ll be joined by David Birch (Half A Sixpence), Ricardo Castro (Come From Away); Matthew Cavendish (The Play Goes Wrong), India Chadwick, Phoebe Ellabani (Peter Pan Goes Wrong), Kerri Norville (& Juliet), Bethany Weaver (Broken Wings) and Natalie Moore Williams (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory).

Producer of Pint of Wine Theatre, Blake Klein said: “We are incredibly excited to support the continued development of this bold, new musical. In the current climate, it is as important as ever to support actors, writers, designers and technicians, and we are proud that this workshop will feature artistic collaborations not normally seen in a workshopped musical.

“We very much look forward to taking this musical to the next stage through this workshop.”

Two invitation-only performances will be held 22 and 23 October at 7:30PM at the Cockpit Theatre, Marylebone.
