West End star Danielle Steers has announced the release of her debut album.

The Future Ain’t What It Used To Be will feature covers of classic Jim Steinman songs including hits such as Total Eclipse Of the Heart, Holding Out For A Hero and Two out of Three Ain’t Bad.

Steers, who originated the role of Zahara in Steinman's Bat Out of Hell: The Musical, announced on social media: "I am so incredible excited to share with you my debut album!!! It’s been a really ruff ride but we got there in the end!

Massive thank you to my family for the incredible support! And also a huge shoutout to @bignoiseproject for being my rock and producing this album as well as arranging and playing the ole ivory’s!"

The album will also feature guest vocals from Bat Out of Hell's Simon Gordon and SIX The Musical's Lauren Drew.
