Six Broadway trailer: Watch a first look at Six The Musical’s Broadway production

Here’s a first look at Six The Musical’s Broadway production in a newly shared trailer.

Nominated for five Olivier Awards, Six The Musical turns Tudor queens into pop princesses as 500 years of historical heartbreak becomes an hour of 21st century sass.

Alongside UK productions, Six transferred to Broadway last year where it was due to open just before the pandemic shutdown theatres.

With Broadway on its way back, the show has confirmed plans to reopen, with previews beginning at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre from 17 September ahead of an official opening on 3 October.

Before then you can check out the show’s new Broadway trailer below!

The original Six Broadway cast sees Adrianna Hicks as Catherine of Aragon, Andrea Macasaet as Anne Boleyn, Abby Mueller as Jane Seymour, Brittney Mack as Anne of Cleves, Samantha Pauly as Katherine Howard and Anna Uzele as Catherine Parr.

Nicole Kyoung-Mi Lambert, Courtney Mack and Mallory Maedke complete the cast as swings.

Written and composed by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, Six The Musical has become a huge hit since first premiering at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2017.

The show will be back in the West End later this month at the Lyric Theatre while a UK tour has scheduled dates through to 2013.

Alongside the new Broadway production, there have also been international productions of the show in Australia together with a version of the show aboard the Norwegian Cruise Line’s Bliss.
