Here’s a first look at Six The Musical’s US production which has opened this week in Chicago.
Nominated for five Olivier Awards, Six The Musical turns Tudor queens into pop princesses as 500 years of historical heartbreak becomes an hour of 21st century sass.
The show – written and composed by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss – has become a huge hit in London’s West End since first premiering at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2017.
Alongside UK productions, Six received its North American premiere in Chicago at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater this week.
The Chicago cast sees Adrianna Hicks as Catherine of Aragon, Andrea Macasaet as Anne Boleyn, Abby Mueller as Jane Seymour, Brittney Mack as Anne of Cleves, Samantha Pauly as Katherine Howard and Anna Uzele as Catherine Parr. Nicole Kyound-Mi Lamber and Mallory Maedke complete the cast as swings.
