West End stars set to workshop new musical Tinker Bell

A workshop cast has been announced for the development of new musical Tinker Bell.

Inspired by the iconic character from JM Barrie, the new musical is written by TikTok stars and musical theatre writing duo Carey-Hills & Hendricks.

A teaser shares: “Tinker Bell had her own story long before Peter Pan met Wendy. In this new musical Tinker Bell the Musical asks you to ‘Dream big. Then dream bigger.'”

With sights set on London’s West End, the new British musical is to be workshopped between 23 and 27 August ahead of an industry showcase.

The workshop cast features Alice Fearn, Courtney Bowman, Oliver Savile, Miracle Chance, Tosh Wanogho-Maud, Patrick Munday, Charlie Kristensen, Beth Hinton-Lever, Cavan Malone, Sadie Harris, Kyle Birch, Gwion Morris Jones, Ying Ue Li, Faye Wheeler, Matthew Ellis and Harriet Caplan-Dean.

Ryan Carey-Hills and Lauren Hendricks write the book, music and lyrics.

Produced by RED Entertainment, direction comes from Anna Fox with assistant director Ayoade Bamgboye.

Set during the scientific revolution of Victorian England, the musical follows Tinker Bell and her friends as they refuge in London’s Kensington Gardens after fleeing Neverland.

As outcasts so far from home, they must face the challenges of a new world and use their collective strength to overcome adversity.
