Ida Girls London have dropped brand new single Never Enough

Ida Girls London have dropped brand new single Never Enough after swapping the stage for the screen this week.

The classical-crossover girl group and Classic Brit Award nominees performed on ITV’s brand-new musical game show Walk The Line on Monday evening.

Ida performed their operatic twist on the hit pop ballad from The Greatest Showman, paying homage to Jenny Lind, the legendary opera singer who was considered “one of the greatest sopranos of the 1800s” and whom the movie’s character was based on.

After singing for Gary Barlow, Alesha Dixon, Dawn French and Craig David, Gary told the group their performance was “really something quite incredible” and Alesha said that she was “genuinely impressed” by their performance and that she “really appreciated” how polished they were.

Following the performance – which you can watch below – the group has released their version of the song on iTunes here.

Ida, which comprises of Georgi Mottram, Wendy Carr, Jasmine Faulkner and Sarah Vaughan, have performed at prestigious venues across the world including The Other Palace and Live at Zedel in London, West End LIVE in Trafalgar Square, Jersey Opera House, performing for Prince Edward at Windsor Castle and headlining Australian arts festival, Noosa ALIVE.

Ida were Classic Brit Award nominees in 2018 and their critically acclaimed Christmas album Believe achieved success that year in the Official Classical UK Charts.
