The Questors Festival of New Theatre launches this July

The Questors Festival of New Theatre will take place this month.

Performed at The Questors Studio and Shaw Room from 18 – 23 July, the event it is set to be Ealing’s only theatre festival.

Organisers promise an “explosion of creative talent for audiences, writers and theatre-makers” with 8 world premieres, including 3 full-length plays from emerging female writers, plus new short plays from award-winning writers.

From hundreds of script submissions, The Questors have curated a programme of the most exciting new works, from a diverse pool of writers across the UK and Ireland.

Premiering at this year’s festival includes On Me by Caroline Lamb, Two Cleaners by Chiara Arrigoni and Mute by Emily Glaze.

The festival also boasts a series of improv activities, panels and workshops led by industry professionals where you can find out more about the processes behind the plays and grow your writing skills. Workshop leaders include Papatango award-winning playwright James Rushbrooke and BBC Radio artist Samantha Boffin.
