The Paddington Bear Experience will return to London’s County Hall later this year.

The large-scale interactive experience inspired by everyone’s favourite bear will take up residence in the iconic County Hall on the Southbank from 31 May 2024.

Guests are welcomed to delve into the enchanting world of Paddington and set off on a captivating immersive journey through the iconic scenes of the Paddington tales.

The adventure begins at the bustling Paddington Station, where a genial Station Master will meet visitors and guide them on an animated train ride past London’s renowned landmarks, ending at the Browns’ cosy residence at No. 32 Windsor Gardens.

Upon entering the renowned hallway, adorned with a tree, the Brown family will sweep visitors into a flurry of multi-sensory activities, assisting Paddington and his family in preparing for the much-anticipated Marmalade Day Festival.

The journey features a variety of themed rooms, interactive games, encounters with characters, and numerous surprises. It culminates in a grand street party in Windsor Garden, where guests can celebrate the Marmalade Day festival, savour food (including Paddington’s signature marmalade sandwich!), and partake in beverages and games with the Brown family. The Paddington Bear Experience promises to enchant visitors of all ages.

Additionally, Paddington enthusiasts should keep an eye out for the opening of ‘Mr Gruber’s Shop’ on 1st March at London County Hall. Echoing the magical antique store from the Paddington stories, Mr Gruber’s Shop will offer a sneak peek of The Paddington Bear Experience, along with the chance to purchase tickets and Paddington merchandise.

The Paddington Bear Experience will be directed by Immersive Octopus, written by Katie Lyons (Peaky Blinders: The Rise, Camden Stables Market), designed by Rebecca Brower (Doctor Who: Time Fracture, West End), with costume design by Stewart J Charlesworth (Respect La Diva, West End), lighting design by Terry Cook (Dubai World Expo 2020) for Woodroffe Bassett, sound design by Luke Swaffield (Saw: The Escape Experience, Tower Hill) for Autograph and video design by Novak (Lumiere Festival, London, Durham and Derry-Londonderry).
