The casts of musicals Dear Evan Hansen and Back To The Future will perform live on BBC One this Friday night.
The companies of the two shows have been confirmed as musical guests for this year’s Sport Relief telethon airing from 7PM on Friday night on BBC One.
Fire up the DeLorean, as the cast of the brand new musical Back To The Future are set to dazzle with a world exclusive medley from the show.
Based on the iconic 1985 film of the same name, the Back to the Future musical recently started performances at the Manchester Opera House.
The new production will run for 12 weeks until May 17 before a planned transfer to London’s West End.
Also confirmed to be performing live this Friday night, the cast of Dear Evan Hansen will also come straight from Broadway to perform You Will Be Found to audiences in the studio and watching from home.
Dear Evan Hansen is currently running at the Noël Coward Theatre in London’s West End.
The BBC has also confirmed a number of other music performances for the night of fundraising and fun
They include Rita Ora, who will be performing her brand new single How To Be Lonely, and global influencer KSI who will be in the studio to perform his new single Wake Up Call in his first ever TV performance.
Also live in the studio, The Pussycat Dolls will entertain audiences with their single React and winner of BBC Music’s Sound of 2020, Celeste will treat audiences to her latest single Strange.
Plus, three time Brit Award nominee John Newman will also perform his brand new single Stand by Me during the big night of TV.
Money raised by Sport Relief helps tackle issues such as mental health stigma, domestic abuse, homelessness and poverty, in the UK and around the world.
The night of TV is live on BBC One from 7pm on Friday 13 March.
