Watch original Hamilton cast reunite for special performance of ‘Helpless’

The original Broadway cast of Hamilton have got together for a special performance.

They joined Jimmy Fallon and The Roots on US TV to perform a social distancing version of Hamilton’s “Helpless” with instruments found at home while in quarantine.

Appearing in the video below are Lin-Manuel Miranda, Phillipa Soo, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Jasmine Cephas Jones, Leslie Odom Jr., Daveed Diggs, Okieriete Onaodowan, Anthony Ramos, Alex Lacamoire, Carleigh Bettiol, Alysha Deslorieux, Hope Easterbrook, Sasha Hutchings, Elizabeth Judd, Stephanie Klemons, Morgan Marcell, Karla Puno Garcia, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Betsy Struxness and Kamille Upshaw.

The performance was filmed to celebrate the upcoming release of the Hamilton movie on Disney Plus on July 3rd.

Recorded at The Richard Rodgers Theatre on Broadway in June of 2016, the film features the original Broadway cast and transports its audience into the world of the Broadway show in a uniquely intimate way.
