Watch a first look at Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster in The Music Man on Broadway

Here’s a very first look at Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster as they star in The Music Man on Broadway.

The pair will be leading the cast of a brand new revival at New York’s Winter Garden Theatre.

While the show doesn’t officially open until February next year, previews kicked off this week with some first teaser clips shared online.

With book, music, and lyrics by Meredith Willson, The Music Man tells the story of con man Harold Hill and his romance with piano teacher Marian.

Hugh and Sutton star as Harold and Marian with with Marie Mullen as Mrs. Paroo, Shuler Hensley as Marcellus Washburn, Jefferson Mays as Mayor Shinn, Jayne Houdyshell as Eulalie Mackecknie Shinn, Emma Crow as Zaneeta Shinn, Gino Cosculluela as Tommy Djilas, Remy Auberjonois as Charlie Cowell, Benjamin Pajak as Winthrop Paroo, Kayla Teruel as Amaryllis, Garrett Long as Ethel Toffelmier, Linda Mugleston as Alma Hix, Jessica Sheridan as Maud Dunlop and Rema Webb as Mrs. Squires.

Phillip Boykin, Eddie Korbic, Daniel Torres and Nicholas Ward perform as the Barbershop Quartet.

The revival is directed by Jerry Zaks, with choreography by Warren Carlyle.

The Music Man first premiered on Broadway in 1957, winning five Tony Awards. A West End production ran in 1961 for 400 performances at the Adelphi Theatre.
