Watch ‘Say My Name’ from Beetlejuice the Musical on Broadway

Beetlejuice the Musical has revealed a performance video of ‘Say My Name’ which you can watch now!

Adapted from the 1988 film of the same name, Beetlejuice the Musical originally opened in New York in 2019 where it was nominated for eight Tony Awards.

After being forced to close prematurely in March 2020 due to the pandemic the show reopened on Broadway earlier this year, haunting the Marriott Marquis Theatre.

Alex Brightman returns to the title role with Elizabeth Teeter as Lydia Deetz who you can watch performing Say My Name in the video below!

Also on the current cast of the Broadway production are David Josefsberg, Kerry Butler, Leslie Kritzer and Adam Dannheisser.

Beetlejuice The Musical has a a score by Eddie Perfect with a book by Scott Brown and Anthony King, direction by Alex Timbers and scenic design by David Korins.

As in the film, it tells the story of ‘bio-exorcist’ Betelgeuse (pronounced Beetlejuice) who attempts to help a recently deceased couple haunt their former home and its new inhabitants.

Meanwhile there’s been rumours of a West End production of Beetlejuice set for 2023 but right now nothing has been officially announced.
