Watch Elizabeth Teeter sing ‘Dead Mom’ from Beetlejuice on Broadway

Beetlejuice the Musical has revealed a performance video of ‘Dead Mom’ which you can watch now!

Based on the hit 1980s film of the same name, Beetlejuice the Musical first opened in New York in 2019 where it was nominated for eight Tony Awards.

After having its original run cut short in March 2020 due to the pandemic the show reopened on Broadway in April at the Marriott Marquis Theatre.

Alex Brightman returns to the title role with Elizabeth Teeter as Lydia Deetz who you can watch performing ‘Dead Mom’ in the video below!

Also on the current cast of the Broadway production are David Josefsberg, Kerry Butler, Leslie Kritzer and Adam Dannheisser.

Beetlejuice The Musical has songs by Eddie Perfect with a book by Scott Brown and Anthony King. The Broadway production is directed by Alex Timbers with scenic design by David Korins, costume design by William Ivey Long, lighting design by Kenneth Posner, sound design by Peter Hylenski, projection design by Peter Nigrini, puppet design by Michael Curry, special effects by Jeremy Chernick, illusions by Michael Weber, hair and wig design by Charles Lapointe and make up design by Joe Dulude II.

Based on Tim Burton’s dearly beloved film, this hilarious musical tells the story of Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager whose whole life changes when she meets a recently deceased couple and a demon with a thing for stripes

Meanwhile there’s been rumours of a West End transfer for Beetlejuice although now nothing has been officially announced just yet.
