James introduced the song with some touching words on the range of emotions he’s felt while in quarantine.

He said: “I’ve found it tougher than I ever thought I would. You feel so out of control.

“It feels so beyond our comprehension, all of it, that I’ve found I get sort of overwhelmed with sadness in it all.”

He continued: “You feel so out of control of it all. I’ve found I get overwhelmed with sadness in it all. But it’s okay to feel a bit sad, it’s okay to feel anxious.

“The best thing we can all do is kind of breathe through that and put our minds in a positive place.”

Corden added: “Just me talking to you tonight has made me feeling a bit lighter.. reaching out to someone else who you think might be struggling too is the best thing we can do right now. We will get through this.”

“Know that As much as we’re apart, we’re unified together,” he went on before saying that Dear Evan Hansen song You Will Be Found “sums up how I feel and what I’m trying to say to you right now.”
