The 2021 line up for Magic at the Musicals concert at the Royal Albert Hall has been revealed.

Some of theatre’s leading talent will perform at the event, which will feature songs from the West End’s biggest musicals.

Magic at the Musicals takes place at the Auditorium a the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday, 17 October 2021.

It will then be available to listen to on Magic FM on Sunday, 24 October between 5PM and 7PM.

The first round of line up announcements has seen confirmed performances from the leading cast members of Disney’s Frozen, Come From Away, & Juliet and Pretty Woman.

They’ll be joined by The Prince of Egypt, Disney’s The Lion King, Mamma Mia! and Back to the Future The Musical, alongside Cinderella, Dear Evan Hansen, Jersey Boys and Royal Shakespeare Company’s Matilda The Musical.

Ruthie Henshall and Jason Manford will host the concert.

Henshall said: “I am so thrilled and excited about hosting Magic at the Musicals. It is one of the nights of the year I look forward to most. For the theatre to have been dormant for so long it’s only fitting to give all the shows the Royal Albert Hall as a platform and a backdrop.

“Magic Radio knows how to put on a show and hosting with Jason Manford is anyone’s dream job! The man is funny, talented and an all-round lovely bloke. Very chuffed it’s him.”

Magic at the Musicals returns this October for an unforgettable evening celebrating musicals from the West End and beyond in the beautiful surroundings of the Hall.

Presented by UK radio station Magic Radio, the event is now in its sixth year. Last year saw a special radio concert at The London Palladium during the pandemic.
