Intermissions Live concert set for Vaudeville Theatre in May

Intermissions Live is to come to the West End in May for a one-off concert.

The online series was launched in lockdown, hosted by Wicked and Come From Away star Alice Fearn from her garden.

She’ll lead the show’s West End debut at the Vaudeville Theatre in May with Groundhog Day’s Emma Lindars and musical direction from Nick Barstow.

They’ll be joined by Sophie Evans, Sam Tutty, Trevor Dion Nicholas, Jenny Fitzpatrick, Natalie Green, Shekinah McFarlane, Nicole Raquel Dennis, Lauren Samuels, Emma Kingston, Molly Lynch and Blake Patrick Anderson

The concert will take place on Monday, 24 May with tickets on sale now here.

Proceeds will be donated to the Theatre Artists Fund, with the show supported by AKT and The Theatre Café.

Kirk Jameson, the show’s co-creator and director, said: “To have conceived and presented Intermissions during those first uncertain months of the pandemic is something myself and the entire team remain unbelievably proud of, but it was always an ambition of mine that someday we might present Intermissions to a live audience – and now’s our chance!

“In doing so, it was important to me and everyone involved that we use this as an opportunity to acknowledge all those amazing people who defied the odds and created work throughout the pandemic; this evening will be a celebration of their bravery and determination.”
