Zorro musical concert cast announced for London’s Cadogan Hall

London Zorro concert cast

Hit musical Zorro returns to the stage for a one-off concert at London’s Cadogan Hall in 2020.

Originally running in the West End in 2008, the musical is inspired by pulp magazine hero Diego de la Vega, better known as El Zorro

The musical features music from Gipsy Kings and John Cameron, a book by Stephen Clark and Helen Edmundson, and lyrics by Stephen Clark.

Zorro will play at Cadogan Hall on 23 February 2020 at 6:30PM. Tickets are on sale now.

The cast will feature Ricardo Afonso (Jesus Christ Superstar, We Will Rock You) in the titular role of Zorro / Diego with Lesli Margherita (Matilda/Broadway, Dames At Sea/Broadway, Zorro/West End) reprising her Olivier Award-winning role of Inez.

Four-time Olivier nominated actress Emma Williams (Half A Sixpence, Mrs Henderson Presents, Zorro) will also reprise her original role of Luisa.

Robert Tripolino will play Ramon and Zubin Varla will play Don.

Completing the cast will be Catalina Amaral, Daniel Amity, Charlotte Clitherow, Richard James-King, Danny Lane, James Leeman, Lauren Lockley, Matthew McDonald, Mia Michaud, Grace Mouat, Rebecca Ridout, Justine Saville, Margarida Silva, Joe Thompson-Oubari, Richard Upton and Enrico Volpi.

The concert will be directed by Fabian Aloise (Evita, The Rink, The View Upstairs) with musical direction by Freddie Tapner joined by the London Musical Theatre Orchestra (LMTO) while projection design comes from George Reeve.

John Cameron will provide additional compositions, orchestrations and arrangements.
