The cast will be led by T’Shan Williams as Celie, with Danielle Fiamanya as Nettie, Karen Mavundukure as Sofia, Ako Mitchell as Mister and Simon Anthony Rhoden as Harpo. Justin Williams Design West End stars will unite for an online concert revival of Gatsby A Musical at Cadogan Hall. Ross William Wild and Jodie Steele, will take on the famed roles of Jay Gatsby and Daisy Buchanan. The new concert production also stars Emma Williams as Myrtle Wilson, Liam Doyle as Tom Buchannan, and Joe Frost as George Wilson. The Road to Prominence concert

The Road to Prominence concert Marking Black History Month in the US, the show will celebrate Black musical theatre creators, from the early twentieth century to today, including performances and interviews with leading UK theatre performers. Proceeds will go to Black Lives Matter UK. The filmed concert is directed by Dominic Powell whose musical Cases is featured in the concert, alongside works such as The Wiz, The Color Purple, Ain’t Misbehavin’, and Shuffle Along. The first of its kind in the UK, West End Musical Drive In is a much-loved and unique series of immersive concerts, which last year provided many performers with their first live opportunity to perform during the pandemic. Now you have the chance to relive all the performances with five special concerts. A different concert will be available to stream each week from Friday, 19 February to Sunday, 21 March. The Sorcerers Apprentice musical online New British musical The Sorcerer’s Apprentice will hold its world premiere online from Southwark Playhouse. The piece offers up a gender-swapped twist on the classic poem by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, which also inspired the Dukas symphony in Disney’s Fantasia. Written by Richard Hough with music and orchestrations from Ben Morales Frost, the cast will feature Tom Bales, Nicola Blackman, Dawn Hope, Mary Moore, Marc Pickering, Ryan Pidgen, Yazdan Qafouri, Vicki Lee Taylor, Kayleigh Thadani and David Thaxton.
