A brand new digital production of the show, which previously ran in New York in 2004, will be available to watch online via stream.theatre from 22 March to 4 April.

The cast will feature Sejal Keshwala (Faith), Emma Kingston (Brooklyn), Newtion Matthews (Street Singer), Jamie Muscato (Taylor) and Marisha Wallace (Paradice).

Ahead of its online debut, you can watch a first look clip as Emma sings the musical’s iconic song Once Upon a Time in the video below.

You can get tickets online here to watch the stream priced at £15.

Brooklyn The Musical, with a book, lyrics, and music by Mark Schoenfeld and Barri McPherson, is a story within a story.

On the outside you have a troupe of incredibly talented street performers who are sharing a story from their lives… Then there is the story they tell – the story of a young girl who comes to the U.S. to find the father she never knew. Together these stories create a show that is both touching and inspiring – a real urban fairytale.

The new digital production is directed by Dean Johnson with production design by Andrew Exeter and video editing by Sam Diaz. Musical direction is by Leo Munby with Richie Garrison (saxophone) and Georgina Lloyd-Owen (cello).
