Nottingham Playhouse has announced a special Cinderella pantomime for 2020’s Christmas season.
The show will be presented both in person to socially distanced audiences and online to viewers at home.
The cast will feature Gabrielle Brooks as Cinderella, Nottingham Playhouse panto favourite John Elkington as Ugly Sister Kourtney, Tom Hopcroft as Ugly Sister Kylie.
Tim Frater as Buttons, Max Runham as Prince, Sara Poyzer Fairy Godmother/Baroness Kim and Jessica Lee as Dandini.
The panto will run for socially distanced audiences between 27 November an 16 January while online performances will take place between 19 December and 24 December.

The panto has been written written by Nottingham Playhouse’s artistic director Adam Penford, who will also direct, with with musical direction by John Morton, choreography by Rachael Nanyonjo, lighting by Alexandra Stafford-Marsha and sound by Will Cottrell.
Penford said: “Christmas in Nottingham just wouldn’t be the same without a Playhouse panto, it’s a major part of the cultural calendar. So this year we will be mounting a special version of the most popular panto title in the land, Cinderella.
“Whilst there will be necessary changes to bring it to the stage and ensure safety is paramount, it will still contain all the fun, magic and festive cheer of the classic Playhouse panto, which audiences know and love.”
