The Lyric Hammersmith has announced the cast and dates for its 2021 pantomime.
The show will be Aladdin with tickets on sale now here for the production, which was originally due to run in 2020.
Aladdin has become one of the most popular pantomimes in the UK thanks to its magical story of a young boy who chances upon a wish-granting genie.
Appearing in the title role will be Qasim Mahmood with Stephan Boyce as Dave Twankey, Kate Donnachie as Emperor/Genie, Irvine Iqbal as Abanazer, Gracie McGonigal as Wishy and Ellena Vincent as Jasmine.
The cast is completed by the Lyric Panto Ensemble of inspiring young West London talent: Caroline Adebayo, Kane Feagan, Carla-Jean Lares and Wilf Walsworth.
The production is written by Vikki Stone and directed by Abigail Graham. Set design is by Lily Arnold, costume design is by Kinnetia Isadore, lighting design is by Sally Ferguson, composition and arrangement is by Corin Buckeridge, choreography is by Chi-San Howard and casting is by Harry Blumenau.
Performances will run from 19 November 2021 and 2 January 2022.
