The special 2020 pantomime for Manchester Opera House theatre has been announced.
Produced by Qdos Entertainment, this year's show will be Sleeping Beauty with tickets on sale now here.
Sleeping Beauty tells the story of a princess who is cursed by an evil witch into a deep sleep that can only be broke by the kiss from her true love.
Supported by the National Lottery, the show will be operating with socially distancing in place and following all of the latest health and safety guidelines.
The show will star Salford-born Jason Manford as Muddles, with comic legend Billy Pearce as King Billy, musical theatre leading lady Jodie Prenger as the Enchantress and Eric Potts as the Queen in this year’s unmissable family production.
A teaser reads: "This year's production, created especially for Manchester Opera House in this unprecedented year, will be a riotously funny, one-act celebration of pantomime, packed full of comedy and laughter and allow audience members the opportunity to come safely together and enjoy the magic of the much-loved and unique art form this festive season."
Further casting is to be confirmed.
