An adult pantomime production of Cinderella will play at The Turbine Theatre this Christmas.
The socially distanced show, strictly for those 18 and over, will run 26 November to 23 December with tickets on sale now.
The new production has been written by Jodie Prenger and Neil Hurst and will be directed by Lizzy Connolly.
The cast features Oscar Conlon-Morrey (Ugly Sister), Rufus Hound (Buttons), Debbie Kurup (Prince Charming), Scott Paige (Ugly Sister), Sean Parkins (Fairy) and Daisy Wood-Davis (Cinderella).
Cinderella tells the story of a young orphaned girl who is put to work by her evil step mother and bullied by her two step-sisters, until a chance encounter with her Fairy Godmother changes everything.
A teaser from the venue reads: “This Christmas, The Turbine Theatre reopens its doors and invites you to a rather deliciously naughty Pantomime. Cinderella’s star-studded cast pay tribute to the stagey West End and all things theatre. Glittery anti-bac will be at hand, and we promise to get home before midnight.”
It will be the first show at Battersea’s The Turbine Theatre since it closed in March due to the ongoing pandemic.
