Details of the 2021 Panto at The New Theatre, Peterborough has been revealed.

Produced by Red Entertainment in Association with Prime Pantomimes, this year’s show will be Aladdin with tickets on sale now here.


Aladdin has become one of the most popular pantomimes in the UK thanks to its magical story of a young boy who chances upon a wish-granting genie.

As ever a special cast will be bringing the tale to life this year.

Rufus Hound will star as Abanazar while Joshian Omana will play the title role of Aladdin.

Joining them will be Pantomime royalty Bobby Crush as Widow Twankey, singing sensation & star of Mis-Teeq Sabrina Washington as Princess Jasmine and comedian Ricky K as Wishee Washee.

Completing the main cast will be Julie Coombe as the hilarious Genie and international aerialist Naomi Scott as Spirit of the Ring.

Richie Ross at New Theatre Peterborough said: “With such a great cast this year’s panto promises to be the best Peterborough has ever seen! We can’t wait to welcome Rufus to the theatre in what will be his first-ever panto, coupled with a seasoned professionals including Bobby Crush, Aladdin will certainly be full of laughter and a cave full of sparkle!”

“With sparkling scenery, spectacular special effects, dazzling dance routines, cracking costumes and a laugh-out-loud script, Aladdin has something for everyone.

“So let us whisk you away to a land of make believe! An unforgettable pantomime experience for the whole family.”

Aladdin will perform at The New Theatre, Peterborough from 15 December 2021 until 30 December 2021.
