The Barn Theatre’s Peter Pan with Waylon Jacobs to stream online

The Barn Theatre’s production of Peter Pan starring Waylon Jacobs will stream online over the festive period.

Waylon Jacobs (Hamilton, Memphis, The Last Five Years) appears in the title role of the world premiere of Alan Pollock’s new adaptation of J.M. Barrie’s classic story Peter Pan.

The production, co-conceived by Kirk Jameson and Nick Barstow and directed by Jameson, follows a man determined not to miss bedtime, so he recreates his daughter’s favourite bedtime story in a hotel room three thousand miles from home.

Peter Pan runs at The Barn Theatre in person until January 3. Online performances will be available between 23 December and 3 January. Tickets for the live stream performances are priced £13.50 with an option to add a £5 or £10 donation that will be shared between the Barn Theatre and Great Ormond Street Hospital.

You can buy tickets for both in-person performances and the live stream online from The Barn Theatre website here.

Waylon Jacobs, who most recognised for being part of the original West End cast of the Olivier and Tony award-winning musical Hamilton, was most recently seen in this summer’s outdoor revival production of Jason Robert Brown’s The Last Five Years at Cornwall’s Minack Theatre.

The production features original music and arrangements by Nick Barstow (Rags, Just So), set and costume design by Gregor Donnelly, lighting design by Joe Price, movement direction by Tosh Wanogho-Maud, projection design by Benjamin Collins and sound design by Harry Smith.
