Casting has been announced for Jack & The Beanstalk at Liverpool’s The Hope Street Theatre.
Following their production of Sleeping Beauty at The Hope Street Theatre in 2021, Just Entertainment Limited will present the pantomime this festive season from 15 – 31 December 2022.
Making a welcome return to the company will be Liverpool Live favourite Lesley Butler, who will weave her magical ways as Mother Nature she will be joined by Alice Carlile as Jill.
Recent LIPA graduate and Liverpudlian Joe Owens will play the titular Jack Trott. Phil Perez will be getting in everyone’s face as the evil Fleshcreep, while magician and ventriloquist Dean Raymond will be entertaining the crowd and the lovable Silly Simon. L
ending his vocal talent to the Giant Blunderbore will be Liverpool Radio legend Billy Butler. The company will be joined by a host of young local talent from Hope Street based Performers Theatre School.
This year’s production will have a distinctive Liverpool sound with many of the production’s songs coming from bands/artists from Liverpool.
Producer Christopher Jones of Just Entertainment said: “We wanted to follow on from last year with a production that promises to be bigger and better! I feel we have brought together a talented and ambitious creative team that will bring something magical to Hope Street Theatre’s intimate space. Alongside one of the best casts full of amazing local talent, this really is a pantomime for all the family.”
Jack & The Beanstalk will have direction by John Garfield-Roberts, musical direction by Andy Mudd, choreography by Jenna Bradshaw, set design by Amy Le Dain and Lighting Design by Jordan Marc. The pantomime will be produced by Christopher Jones and Sheryl Dean for Just Entertainment Limited.
