The Addams Family 2022 musical tour cast revealed in full

Here’s who’s on the cast of The Addams Family musical’s ongoing 2022 tour.

The hit musical comedy is hitting the road with dates across the UK throughout 2021 and into 2022.

Based on the iconic characters created by Charles Addams, The Addams Family musical has a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice with music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa.

The cast will be led by Joanne Clifton and Cameron Blakely who play the roles of Morticia and Gomez Addams respectively.

Kingsley Morton will play Wednesday Addams, Grant McIntyre will play Pugsley Addams, Valda Aviks will play Grandma, Sean Kingsley will play Mal Beineke, Kara Lane will play Alice Beineke, Scott Paige will play Uncle Fester and Ahmed Hamad will play Lucas Beineke.

Dickon Gough will play Lurch through until 19 February before Ryan Bennett takes over the role from 22 February.

They’re joined by Abigail Brodie, Castell Parker, Jessica Keable, Ying Ue Li, Sean Lopeman, Sophie Hutchinson, Matthew Ives and Sario Solomon.

A synopsis of the show reveals:

Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and has a shocking secret that only Gomez knows; she’s fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family!

Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before — keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents. All the usual clan are present – Uncle Fester, Lurch, Pugsley et al.

The tour is directed by Matthew White with choreography by Alistair David, design by Diego Pitarch, musical direction from Bob Broad, musical supervision and orchestrations by Richard Beadle, lighting designer Ben Cracknell and sound design by Richard Brooker. Casting is by Jane Deitch.
