Cluedo 2 – The Next Chapter, a riotous spoof of a comedy thriller, is the brainchild of the BAFTA Award-winning TV writing duo, Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran, known for their hit shows like Birds of a Feather and Dreamboats and Petticoats. The play is brought to life under the direction of Mark Bell, who previously directed the original Cluedo play in the UK and the globally acclaimed phenomenon, The Play That Goes Wrong.
In the swinging 60s, a new tale unfolds featuring a cast of eccentric characters. Meet The Honourable Mrs. Emerald Peacock, a flamboyant socialite; Colonel Eugene Mustard, a distinguished military man; ‘Professor’ Alex Plum, a quirky intellectual; Miss Annabel Scarlett, a vivacious and charming woman; ‘The Reverend’ Hal Green, a mysterious man of the cloth and the enigmatic housekeeper, Mrs. White.
Amidst the grandeur of a lavish mansion, bodies begin to pile up and our colourful characters find themselves embroiled in a murder mystery. As they dart from room to room, desperately trying to evade the murderer and survive the night, Cluedo 2 keeps its audience guessing until the thrilling finale. The play invites aspiring detectives of all ages to watch closely for clues, unravel secrets and piece together the puzzle of whodunnit, with what weapon and in which room the crime occurred.
