Go behind the scenes at rehearsals of the upcoming UK tour of Waitress the musical.

Fresh from the West End, Waitress will hit the road later this year.

The UK tour will open in London’s New Wimbledon Theatre in September before travelling across the UK throughout 2021 and into 2022.

Lucie Jones will reprise her lead role of Jenna from the West End production joined by Busted star Matt Willis as Dr Pomatter (up until 5 February 2022 in Hull).

Based on the film of the same name, Waitress tells the story of waitress and expert pie-maker Jenna who dreams of a way out of her small town and rocky marriage.

Jones and Willis will be joined on the Waitress tour cast by Sandra Marvin as Becky , Evelyn Hoskins as Dawn, George Crawford as Ogie, Tamlyn Henderson as Earl and Christopher D. Hunt as Cal.

Completing the ensemble are Monique Ashe-Palmer, Amelia Atherton, Donal Brennan, Aimée Fisher, Nathanael Landskroner, Charlie Martin, Liam McHugh, Olivia Mitchell and Ben Morris.

The hit musical, which ran at London’s Adelphi Theatre for more than a year up until March 2020, features a Tony and Grammy nominated score by Sara Bareilles, a book by Jessie Nelson and original direction by Diane Paulus.
