The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time has revealed its tour cast.

The acclaimed National Theatre production will run in London from November before travelling across the country on tour throughout 2022.

The play is based on the 2003 novel of the same name by Mark Haddon, adapted by Simon Stephens. It tells the story of 15-year-old Christopher whose attempts to solve the mystery of his neighbour’s dead dog take him on a frightening journey that upturns his world.

The cast will be led by David Breeds and Connor Curren who will alternate in the role of Christopher.

Joining them are Kofi De-Graft-Jordan (Mr Thompson), Ashley Gerlach (Mr Shears), Joanne Henry (Mrs Alexander), Siu-See Hung (Punk Girl), Kate Kordel (Judy on alternate weeks), David Monteith (Reverend Peters), Tom Peters (Ed), Rebecca Root (Siobhan), Hannah Sinclair Robinson (Mrs Shears) and Sophie Stone (Judy on alternate weeks).

Completing the cast are ensemble members Marc Benga, Sibylla Meienberg, Joe Rawlinson-Hunt, Rebecca Wilson and understudy Christopher and swing Jacob Coleman.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time tour tickets, dates and venues

The production is directed by Marianne Elliott with design by Bunny Christie, lighting design by Paule Constable, and video design by Finn Ross.

Movement is by Scott Graham and Steven Hoggett for Frantic Assembly, music by Adrian Sutton and sound by Ian Dickinson for Autograph. The Associate Director is Anna Marsland. Casting is by Jacob Sparrow Casting, and casting assistant is Chloe Blake.

The show will open Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre in London on 20 November playing to 9 January before touring the UK throughout 2022. Relaxed performances have been announced as part of both the London run (5 January) and tour (date to be confirmed).
