The Cher Show tour to star Millie O’Connell, Danielle Steers & Debbie Kurup

Lead casting has been announced for the upcoming UK tour of The Cher Show musical.

The Cher Show is a jukebox musical that tells the story and career of singer Cher with her biggest hits, including The Shoop Shoop Song, I Got You Babe, If I Could Turn Back Time, Strong Enough and Believe.

After running on Broadway between 2018 and 2019, the Tony Award winning musical comes to the UK this year with a new touring production.

The Goddess of Pop will be portrayed in three different ways throughout her iconic career, with Millie O’Connell (Six, Be More Chill, Rent) plays Babe, Danielle Steers (Six, Bat Out of Hell) plays Lady with Debbie Kurup (The Prince of Egypt, Rent) as Star.

Full casting for the tour is to be announced.

The tour opens in Leicester at the Curve theatre in April before heading across the UK & Ireland through the year and into 2023.

The brand new production of The Cher Show is directed by Arlene Phillips with choreography by Strictly Come Dancing professional Oti Mabuse, costume design by Gabriella Slade, lighting design by Ben Cracknell, sound design by Dan Samson and with Gary Hickeson as Music Producer.
