Hot Flush The Musical's UK tour has been cancelled, producers have announced.
After four previous sell-out tours, Hot Flush the Musical was due to come back to the stage this year for the first time in five years.
The show followed The Hot Flush Club, a group of woman "hitting the menopause years disgracefully." It was due to star Su Pollard as Helen, Helen Pearson as Myra, Melanie Gutteridge as Sylvia, and Ruth Keeling as Jessica with Matt Slack playing all male characters.
Performances were due to begin later this month (September) but producers have announced it will no longer be going ahead.
They said in a statement: "Whilst we still have great faith in the show, advance ticket sales are not sufficient to make the tour viable, so we are left with no option other than to take this action before the cast were due to start rehearsals next week."
Those who bought tickets should contact their point of purchase for a refund.
