Sister Act is to tour the UK in 2022 and 2023 – here’s all you need to know.
Produced by Jamie Wilson and Whoopi Goldberg, the brand new production will tour the UK in 2022 and 2023 following a delay due to the pandemic.
Based on the hit movie, Sister Act tells the story of a singer who is forced to join a convent after being placed in a witness protection program.
Sister Act features music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Glenn Slater and a book by Bill and Cheri Steinkellner with additional book material by Douglas Carter Beane.

The current touring company features Lesley Joseph as Mother Superior, Sandra Marvin as Deloris Van Cartier, Clive Rowe as Eddie Souther and Lizzie Bea as Sister Mary Robert
At performances in Manchester, Jennifer Saunders will appear as Mother Superior and Keala Settle as Sister Mary Patrick.
Joining them are Jeremy Secomb as Curtis Jackson, Catherine Millsom as Mary Patrick, Anne Smith as Sister Mary Lazarus, Graham MacDuff as Monsignor O’Hara, Tricia Deighton as Sister Mary Theresa and Lori Haley Fox as Sister Mary Martin of Tours.
