Jim Steinman’s Bat Out of Hell: The Musical is heading out on a UK tour later this year.
Fresh from its recent runs at the Manchester Opera House and the London Coliseum and Dominion Theatre, a first UK tour is on its way for 2021 and 2022.
The musical has a book, music and lyrics by the late Jim Steinman based on the album Bat Out of Hell by Meat Loaf.
The story is a romantic adventure about rebellious youth and passionate love, set against the backdrop of a post-cataclysmic city adrift from the mainland. Strat, the forever young leader of The Lost, has fallen for Raven, daughter of Falco, the tyrannical ruler of Obsidian.
This award-winning musical thunders through iconic hits including I’d Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That), Paradise By The Dashboard Light, Two Out Of Three Ain’t Bad, Dead Ringer For Love and Bat Out of Hell, in an exciting over the top theatrical spectacle unlike any other.
