Here's a taster of the new UK tour of Beautiful – The Carole King Musical as it opens this weekend.
The musical - which recently celebrated five years on Broadway - ran in the West End for two and a half years before a first UK tour in 2017.
A second national UK tour launches this Saturday (January 11) at the Churchill Theatre, Bromley.

Beautiful – The Carole King Musical tells the story of the life of singer-songwriter Carole King. The show features a book by Douglas McGrath with songs written by Carole King, her husband Gerry Goffin, as well as Barry Mann, Cynthia Weil, Phil Spector and others.
Daisy Wood-Davis leads the cast in the title role Carole King, alongside Adam Gillian as Gerry Goffin while Vicki Manser will play Carole King at certain performances.
After Bromley - where the musical plays through to Saturday, January 18 - the UK tour will visit Hull, Aberdeen, Northampton, Eastbourne, Woking, Bristol, Bradford, Cardiff, Sunderland, Wimbledon, Milton Keynes, Llandudno, Canterbury, Cliffs Pavilion, Southend, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Glasgow and Nottingham.
