Star of Beautiful’s 2020 UK tour Daisy Wood-Davis belts out ‘Natural Woman’ in this new video.
Beautiful – The Carole King Musical tells the story of the life of singer-songwriter Carole King. The show features a book by Douglas McGrath with songs written by Carole King, her husband Gerry Goffin, as well as Barry Mann, Cynthia Weil, Phil Spector and others.
The musical – which recently celebrated five years on Broadway – ran in the West End for two and a half years and is now touring the UK.
Here’s a taste of what to expect from the production as Daisy Wood-Davis, who leads the cast in the title role Carole King, sings (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman.

The new Beautiful musical national UK tour launched in January in Bromley and will head to Hull, Aberdeen, Northampton, Eastbourne, Woking, Bristol, Bradford, Cardiff, Sunderland, Wimbledon, Milton Keynes, Llandudno, Canterbury, Cliffs Pavilion, Southend, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Glasgow and Nottingham.
Alongside Wood-Davis, the cast features Adam Gillian as Gerry Goffin while Vicki Manser will play Carole King at certain performances.
Further cast include Laura Baldwin as Cynthia Weil with Cameron Sharp as Barry Mann, Susie Fenwick as King’s mother Genie Klein and Oliver Boot as Donnie Kirshner.
