Dove Cameron, Lili Reinhart and Imelda Staunton have all been linked to the upcoming Wicked film adaption.
A movie version of the hit West End and Broadway musical has been in the works for years and now production is finally set to begin.
Although nothing has been officially announced so far, four-time Olivier Award winner Imelda Staunton has been tipped for the role of Madame Morrible.
Meanwhile, Geek Vibes Nation reports that producers are looking at either Dove Cameron or Lili Reinhart for the role of G(a)linda.
Production is slated to begin in January 2021 although with the current situation in the world that date is very much liable to change.
The screen adaption’s release date has already been pushed back from December 2021 with a new date yet to be set.
Earlier this year, Wicked composer Stephen Schwartz recently revealed the latest progress on the film in an interview with Elaine Paige on BBC Radio 2.
