Listen to Dear Evan Hansen movie songs You Will Be Found and Waving Through A Window

Here’s a first listen to two songs from the upcoming Dear Evan Hansen movie.

The hit stage show will arrive on the big screen later this year with Ben Platt reprising his Tony-winning titular role.

Ahead of its release, the first two songs from the show’s official soundtrack have been revealed.

The first features Platt taking on the show’s iconic Waving Through A Window while the second sees the full cast performing You Will Be Found, which acts as the Act One closer in the stage show.

Meanwhile the show’s full soundtrack is available to pre-order here. It will be released on 24 September when the film is in cinemas in the US.

There will be two new songs from The Greatest Showman songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, Anonymous Ones and A Little Closer.

But four songs from the stage version have been cut – Anybody Have A Map, To Break In A Glove, Good For You and Disappear.

Alongside Platt, the cast features Julianne Moore as Evan’s mum Heidi with Kaitlyn Dever and Colton Ryan as Zoe and Connor Murphy.

Amy Adams and Danny Pino will play Zoe and Connor’s parents with Amandla Stenberg and Nik Dodani as Alana Beck and Jared Kleinman.

The Dear Evan Hansen movie is currently due for release on 11 October in the UK and 24 September in the US.
