Come From Away Apple TV+ release date, time and cast

A filmed version of Come From Away’s Broadway production has arrived – here’s all you need to know!

A recording of the critically acclaimed and award winning musical is available to watch online worldwide on streaming service Apple TV+.

The movie was released on Friday, 10 September – watch it here on Apple TV+. Apple TV+ costs £4.99/month with a seven day free trial.

The proshot was filmed on Broadway at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre in May with much of the show’s original cast.

The cast for the Come From Away film is led by Jenn Colella, who was nominated for a Tony for her role of Beverley Bass (and others).

Completing the company for the recording are Petrina Bromley as Bonnie, Joel Hatch as Claude, Caesar Samayoa as Kevin J., Q. Smith as Hannah, Astrid Van Wieren as Beulah, Sharon Wheatley as Diane and Tony LePage as Kevin T., De’Lon Grant as Bob, Emily Walton as Janice, Jim Walton as Nick and Paul Whitty as Oz.

Come From Away explores the powerful true story of the 7,000 airline passengers from all over the world who fund themselves grounded in Canada following the 9/11 terror attacks which saw planes across North America grounded.

Tony Award-winning Director Christopher Ashley’s production guides audiences through a colourful and spirited cast of characters of a small Newfoundland community that invited these ‘come from aways’ into their lives.

Irene Sankoff and David Hein write the score which was nominated for a Tony award and picked up an Olivier, among many other accolades.
