All Star Musicals Christmas special air date and line up of celebrities confirmed

The line up of celebrities on ITV’s All Star Musicals for its 2021 Christmas special have been announced!

The TV show follows a group of famous faces as they head into the theatre spotlight and compete to put on the best musical performance.

The celebs will receive mentoring from esteemed West End choreographers and vocal coaches before performing for a panel of expert judges and a live audience.

Making up the panel are West End legend Elaine Paige, Frozen star Samantha Barks and Hamilton’s Trevor Dion Nicholas.

All Star Musicals 2021 line up

Those taking part are presenter Fern Britton, actor Ben Miller, former-MP and broadcaster Gyles Brandreth, presenter Anita Rani, actress Catherine Tyldesley, and sports presenter Radzi Chinyanganya.

The celebs will be supported by a full West End ensemble as they perform numbers from a range of famous musicals, both contemporary and traditional including Cats, Moana and The Rocky Horror Show

Meanwhile, there will be a special performance from one of the West End’s biggest shows while Samantha – currently starring as Elsa in Frozen’s West End production – will perform Into The Unknown from Frozen 2.

Plus, host John Barrowman will team up with Elaine, Samantha and Trevor to open the show with a spectacular medley of songs from The Greatest Showman.

All Star Musicals will air on ITV and ITV Hub on Boxing Day (Sunday 26 December) at 8PM.
