All Star Musicals 2022 special reveals line up of celebrities

The new line up of celebrities on ITV’s All Star Musicals for its latest special have been announced!

The hit ITV series sees a cast of famous faces stepping out into the theatre spotlight and compete to put on the best musical performance.

The line up of celebrities will be put through a musical theatre crash course of West End choreographers and vocal coaches before performing for a panel of expert judges and a studio audience.

West End legend Elaine Paige, Frozen star Samantha Barks and Hamilton’s Trevor Dion Nicholas make up the panel to offer their opinions on the performances.

Those taking part include Good Morning Britain’s Alex Beresford, actress Jacqueline Jossa and wildlife presenter Michaela Strachan.

They’re joined by Coronation Street’s Lisa George, James Bond actor Colin Salmon and rugby star Danny Care flexing their musical muscles for a night of show-stopping entertainment.

The celebs will be supported by a full West End ensemble as they perform numbers from a range of famous musicals, both contemporary and traditional including Frozen, Les Miserables, 42nd Street and Hamilton.

The night will feature a very special performance from the stars of The Phantom of the Opera, as they celebrate 35 years in London’s West End.

Plus, host John Barrowman will team up with Elaine, Samantha and Trevor to open the show with a spectacular medley of songs from Grease.

All Star Musicals will air Sunday, 3 April, 7:30PM on ITV and ITV Hub

It’s the most recent special to air on ITV following a one-off for Christmas last month.

That show starred presenter Fern Britton, actor Ben Miller, former-MP and broadcaster Gyles Brandreth, presenter Anita Rani, actress Catherine Tyldesley, and sports presenter Radzi Chinyanganya.
