Watch Everybody’s Talking About Jamie’s Max Harwood perform on Strictly Come Dancing

Max Harwood led a performance from the Everybody’s Talking About Jamie movie on Strictly COme Dancing this weekend.

The BBC One show continued this weekend with a tribute to all things musical theatre.

On Saturday the celebrities performed routines inspired by some of the best-loved musicals of all time.

In Sunday’s show, ahead of the results of the public vote, there was a performance from the star of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie’s recent movie adaptation.

Max Harwood, who plays the title character Jamie New, was joined by The Feeling for a performance of Out of the Darkness (A Place Where We Belong).

Adapted from the hit West End stage show, the Everybody’s Talking About Jamie film is available to stream online via Amazon Prime Video here.

Alongside Max, other cast includes Richard E. Grant as former drag queen and Jamie’s mentor Hugo and Sharon Horgan as Jamie’s teacher Miss Hedge. Sarah Lancashire will play his mother Margaret while Shobna Gulati, from the original stage cast, reprises her role of Ray.

Meanwhile, elsewhere during Strictly Come Dancing this weekend, the musicals theme saw dances to The Sound Of Music, Frozen The Musical, Matilda, Singin’ In The Rain, Mary Poppins, Foot Loose and Les Misérables.

Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One on Saturday and Sunday nights.
