The 2022 Olivier Awards take place tonight – here’s all you need to know about this year’s ceremony.
Returning after a year away due to the pandemic, the Olivier Awards are back to celebrate the best of British theatre.

Jason Manford will host this year’s show from the Royal Albert Hall.
The night will begin online via the Official London Theatre YouTube channel with ‘green carpet’ arrivals from 4:30PM.
The main ceremony will air on TV on ITV at 10:15PM for those in the UK. You’ll also be able to stream online via the ITV Hub.
Outside of the UK, the entire show will stream online via the Official London YouTube channel.
The ceremony will also broadcast on radio on Magic Radio and Magic at the Musicals from 5:30PM.
Olivier Awards 2022 nominations and performances
You can see the full 2022 Olivier Award nominations here which were revealed in March by previous winners Miriam-Teak Lee and Sam Tutty.
Alongside the awards, the night will also see a number of special performances.
Those confirmed to be taking to the stage include the casts of nominated New Best Musicals, Frozen, Back To The Future, Get Up, Stand Up – The Bob Marley Musical, Moulin Rouge! The Musical and The Drifters Girl.
There will also be performances from Anything Goes, Cabaret, Spring Awakening and Life of Pi.
Plus, a special tribute to late musical theatre composer Stephen Sondheim has also been confirmed.
Meanwhile presenters of awards will include Jade Anouka, Floella Benjamin, Don Black, Anne-Marie Duff, Noma Dumezweni, Tom Felton, Kit Harington, Max Harwood, Ruthie Henshall, Cassidy Janson, Beverley Knight, Bonnie Langford, Miriam-Teak Lee, Oti Mabuse, Dame Arlene Phillips, Jonathan Pryce, Keala Settle, Ranj Singh, Giles Terera, Sam Tutty, Eric Underwood and Layton Williams
