How to apply for ITV1’s new Mamma Mia! musical TV talent show

ITV1 is on the search for budding musical theatre performers to take part in a new Mamma Mia! musical talent show.

Mamma Mia! I Have a Dream will see contestants competing to star in the West End production of Mamma Mia in the roles of Sophie and Sky.

Across the eight-part series, hopefuls will be put through their paces as they navigate their way through challenges, masterclasses and performances.

You must be at least 18 years old and applications close on 5 March 2023.

Filmed in the Greek islands, where the original Mamma Mia! story is set, those successful in the applications will find themselves mentored by guest industry stars through unique workshops and judged by a panel of well-known industry experts in both music and theatre.

Ultimately, a live final in a West End theatre will see two winners take it all and go on to star as Sophie and Sky in West End production of the hit musical.

The series is made by Thames, who also make Britain’s Got Talent and I Can See Your Voice.
