Original cast of Matilda the Musical reunite to sing ‘When I Grow Up’

A number of of the original cast of Matilda the Musical have got together for a special performance.

They’ve reunited in lockdown to sing ‘When I Grow Up’ from the show, which features music and lyrics by Tim Minchin with a book by Dennis Kelly, based of course on Matilda by Roald Dahl.

The video was shared to help raise funds for NHS Charities amid the ongoing global health crisis – you can donate online here.

The cast said: “Together, let’s show our respect and gratitude as [the NHS] work tirelessly in the face of the virus. It’s our turn to make sure we look after them, to ensure they can keep doing their vital work.”
