Over The Rainbow stars reunite with Andrew Lloyd Webber for charity performance

The stars of BBC One’s Over The Rainbow have reunited in lockdown.

The final eleven contestants on the BBC series, which aired 10 years ago now, have got together for a virtual performance.

Appearing in the video are Amy Diamond, Bronté Barbé, Dani Rayner, Danielle Hope, Emilie Fleming, Jenny Douglas, Jessica Robinson, Lauren Samuels, Sophie Evans, Stephanie Davis and Stephanie Fearon.

Joined by a very special guest in the form of Andrew Lloyd Webber himself, the ladies and a host of brilliant musicians have recorded a very special cover of Over The Rainbow.

The video – which you can watch below – was released to raise funds for mental health charity Mind.

They said: “As we’re launching the song during Mental Health Week, and the world does feel like a bit of a hopeless jumble at the moment… we thought we’d set up this page in tandem for Mind – a brilliant charity doing brilliant things.”

You can donate online here via JustGiving.
